The Factorie Ballroom had a short but notable existence back around 1970. Alice Cooper, The Stooges, The Rationals, Norman Greenbaum, Procol Harum, Catfish, The Maxx, Sky, and Savage Grace played there. There is a great backstage photo below from Dennis Dunaway, bassist of the amazing original Alice Cooper band.
The venue ran into problems with Waterford Twp over some health and safety issues and their permit was revoked in August of 1970. From what I can gather, that ended the concert venue. As it is described as a Quonset Hut design, I see a structure on the lot today that matches that description as part of an RV lot. Is that the old Factorie Ballroom structure? I don't know but I would like to think so.
