It appears this old hotel/motel is gone. As of 2024, there is a building on the old lot being used for Jarvis Property Restoration. The structure is close to the size of the old hotel building but the roof is different. Perhaps it was remodeled significantly. The little motel wing is gone.
The motel was once owned by Edith Haar. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Kullick purchased it from her in 1970. Perhaps earlier than that, it was owned by the Wysocki family. There were mentions in the newspaper archives going back to the early 1950's regarding this little motel. Re/Max took over the old hotel building in 1986 and converted it to their office.
It was owned by the Hayner family at the time who operated other motels in the area. They applied for and received a variance to convert the site. Just prior to that, the rooms were being rented to women for $40 per week.
