This 34 unit motel was originally officers quarters bomber and fighter pilots operating out of Kellogg Field. It was built in 1943. By 1955, Charles V. Perrett converted it to a motel with a Bill Knapp's on site. Knapps would also build offices on the property. The motel was known as one of the first to offer telephone service, air conditioning, and TV's in the rooms. A pool was added by 1961.
By 1966, the motel was closed and it became apartments. It consisted of multiple buildings, the last of which was demolished by 2009.I believe the apartments closed in the 1980's based on the aerial photography from the time.
