The Bay Breeze goes back to the early 1950's. It was once operated by Frank and Dorothy Chapman. I think it was a seasonal operation in the early days as it was mentioned in the papers that the Chapman's had gone on a 6 week Caribbean cruise for the winter months. The mentions in the newspapers end in the late 1970's. As of 2023, a Taco Bell sits on the property.
