This motel probably goes back to the 1950's. It was once operated by Mr. and Mrs. Joe Borbas back in 1969. I traced the phone number on the old postcard to the current Mackinaw Beach & Bay Inn & Suites. Checking the historical aerials, it does indeed seem the old Vagabond sat on the same lot. I have done a comparison between the aerial photo and the postcard which can be seen below. The Vagabond was demolished sometime around 2008 or so.
