I don't know much about this place as it wasn't mentioned much in the newspapers but it seems like it has been around since the 1960's. Back then, it was known as Chet's Motel and Boat Livery. The Facebook page for the Lakeview Motel indicates it is closed permanently but as of 2022 the building still stands.
