The old Dor-Art goes back to the 1950's when it was owned by Mr. and Mrs. Art Nerbonne who sold it to Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kancylar in 1955. Today a McDonalds sits on the old lot, the motel being demolished long ago. The place shows up on the 1954 aerial but by 1983 it was gone. The old aerial seems to show there were some tourist cabins on the site and the 1968 article I found confirms that. Unfortunately I don't have an old post card to share, yet. I will keep looking. That is prime real estate along there so I am not surprised a large company like McDonalds snapped it up.
