This motel goes back to the 1960's at least. Not only was it classic with a nice mid-mod look, it had a Howard Johnson's next door. It at once point was part of the Golden Key chain, which from what I gather was a smallish regional chain that operated many hotels around the state. This was once the motel of choice for entertainers playing at Lofy's, a well-known venue down the street. The building still stands as of 2022 and is operating as Sunrise Studio Apartments.
